Pan de Muerto (Mexican Sweet Bread for Day of the Dead)
In Mexico where the celebration of All Souls Day happens on November 2, we make a sweet bread to place on our loved one's altar. We specialize in a vegan version as well as a gluten-free version of this traditional bread. When ordering please let us know by what date you prefer to receive your bread.
Pan de muerto is about 6-8 oz, measures about 4-6 in diameter
Vegan - we use vegetable shortening and/or vegetable margarine;almond milk or coconut milk (whichever is available at time of baking), and almond flour.
Gluten-Free bread includes a blend of non-wheat flours including almond flour.
Specialty Bread includes any requests such as no egg or dairy in glutenfree baking, or no nuts so must order full order of pan de muerto that can include 3-5 small breads. this depends on the dough mix.
