Rosca de Reyes are CLOSED. No More Orders
Rosca de Reyes is a traditional Mexican sweet bread served on January 6, the Day of the Epiphany. Each rosca has at least 1 baby to be found in the bread. Tradition states that whoever gets the baby will host a party and buy tamales to celebrate on Candlemas Day which is February 2
Each year, we offer free shipping on two dates with code: Rosca. It's only good on either December 4 or December 27. Roscas are baked fresh and shipped December 31 for out of state orders, and on January 2nd for local orders. If order after January 1st there's an extra fee for expedited shipping even if you pick it up at a pop-up shop. An invoice will be sent via square to pay for extra shipping. Orders that must be shipped East of Texas close on January 1st.
The Vegan roscas are baked with a wheat base flour, almond flour, egg replacer, vegetable shortening, sugar, and flavored with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla extract, anise extract, and almond milk.
The *gluten-free roscas are baked with a blend of nonwheat flours that includes potato starch, brown rice flour, tapioca flour, almond flour and xanthum gum, eggs, milk, vegetable shortening and spices listed above.
* Gluten-Free Roscas. These are delicate breads and may break during shipping. Though all care is taken in the packing of your order please know that this may happen. there are no refunds for breads that break in shipping.
The Vegan Gluten Free Rosca is made with a combination of the above ingredents. These Roscas cannot be shipped as they are extremely fragile. Only available for local pick-up.
All breads are decorated with dried fruits. We only prepare gluten-free, vegan, or vegan-gluten-free roscas. If are allergic to almonds, we can prepare it with out the almond milk or almond flour. Please indicated at time of ordering of allergic to almonds
