Harvesting your gains

This summer we have been quite busy setting up pop-ups at festivals, artwalks, and intimate community events outside of Los Angeles. Among them were the Reggae On the Mountain in Topanga, Echo Park Rising with Wild Riot & The Pretty Cult Creative Compound, and Barrio Logan Flea Market in San Diego. We look forward joining Wild Riot again for more events this fall and hopefully make it back to San Diego for another edition of Barrio Logan Flea Market. You can follow @wearewildriot @barriologanfleamarket on instagram.

It's been great to see folks enjoying our Good Mexican Girl baked goods. Here's a screen shot of our friends Todo Verde picking up our vegan cookies from Holy Grounds.

At the end of August we partnered up with Holy Grounds Coffee & Tea in El Sereno who now carries a selection of our vegan cookies and gluten free scones. We delivered our first order on their opening day August 21. Timely with the arrival of the solar eclipse and new moon. It was so cool to see Raul Pacheco, guitarist from Ozomatli buying the first bag. Owner Steve and Manager David are in the first picture. It was so serendipitous .

We have now added Cranberry & Orange as well as Lemon & Blueberry gluten free scones and restocked our vegan cookies this past weekend. Pick up our baked goods Holy Grounds Coffee & Tea, 5371 Alhambra Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90032

This weekend find us at the annual El Mercado produced by the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce that will coincide with the NELA's Artwalk. We'll be here alongside ThoT Creations.

And on Sunday, we return to Grand Park with Beat Swapmeet. It was so much fun last year, and we're excited to be back with our friends Kalli Arte & Nectar Azul. The big highlight for me will be so see Kurtis Blow & Kid Frost perform.

On September 23, we'll join the Reseda Artwalk for their annual event. We're excited to return to the Valley with 1111 Acc Gallery in Canoga Park.

Save the date for One Love Experience. We'll be joining this 3day Festival in Ventura County. Headling the event is Moby. We'll be here with Thot Creations and also offering cranial sacral / polarity sessions during the festival. If want a session for yourself, I'm at Kosha Wellness Center in Pasadena on Sundays.

Last but not least

We are busy in the kitchen producing new products to add to our baked goods. We'll be offering again vegan and gluten free pan de muerto. We'll start to promote on Instagram @goodmexicangirl in October. We are also experimenting with new ingredients to bring some surprising takes on Mexican classics. Stay tuned. We are having fun taste testing.

Don't forget to take advantage of Free Shipping at our shop with code BacktoSchool. Offer ends September 25, 2017.
